How to use Subtitle Workshop adjust your movie subtitle

Let's say if you have a movie subtitle but it does not synchronize to your movie. You are so disappointed when you are sitting in your couch with your coffee and wanting to enjoy it.

 

Well, some of this situation may solved by yourself with Subtitle Workshop which is a freeware. You can download it from its official web site http://www.urusoft.net/download.php?lang=1&id=sw . I think it is a wonderful software for beginners like me. I only touched two main parts of this software, adjust subtitles and Join subtitles.

 

There are four methods to adjust a movie subtitle; you can choose one of them according to your situation. Sometimes one method may not resolve the problem and you may try another one.

 

Join subtitles is useful when you find that you have two or more subtitles but you have only one movie file or you have the same number movies but they are split at different positions. Now you can use join subtitle function. For example, I have two subtitles but they are split at the different positions, and subtitle one have parts of the contents from subtitle two. Now you can cut this part and make a new subtitle file named subtitle three. Then join the subtitle three with subtitle two in a correct order to form subtitle four. After that you can synchronize subtitle four with your movie. Now you can enjoy your movie and your coffee.
